P.Butowski - Russian Renaissance Sukhoi Superjet 100 /Commercial/
Flight trials of the SaM146 turbofan began in December 2007, with the engine mounted under the wing of an Il-76LL test-bed.
Final assembly at Sukhoi’s production facility in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
Sukhoi's Superjet 100 prototype was formally rolled out in a ceremony at the KnAAPO aircraft production facility at Komsomolsk-on-Amur on September 26, 2007.
When the first Superjet was rolled out on September 26, 2007, it was painted in the Russian national colours of white, blue and red, but its name was written in English - which may indicate the need to market the aircraft in the West. Sukhoi's logo is on the fin.
Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company’s chief test pilot Alexander Yablontsev lands the first prototype after its successful 1hr 6min maiden flight.

For its maiden flight from the Komsomolsk-on-Amur airfield on May 19, 2008, the first prototype was fitted with a long, pitot-static nose probe and a tail bumper to protect the rear under-fuselage.
This view of the flight deck shows the five (some are partially obscured) identical 5in x 8in Thales LCDs and side-stick controllers. The two displays immediately in front of each pilot show the flight and navigation data, while the central screens present engines and systems data.
