Six Dominie T1s of No.55(R) Squadron, radio call sign Banquet Formation, taxi back to parking at RAF Cranwell after the retirement fly-past on January 20, 2011. The pilots carried out a stylish finale to the flight by switching off engines in unison.

The six-ship formation over the east of England - No.55(R) Squadron put in one full six ship practice before the retirement day.

All trainees on the 23rd WSOp Course were posted to rotary aircrew training at RAF Shawbury although most were initially destined for the Nimrod MRA4.
