Fairchild Argus I HM167 served with the Air Transport Auxiliary until it was struck off RAF charge in February 1944.

Ranger-engined Argus III HB652 photographed in July 1944. This aircraft was part of a batch of 115 Argus IIIs delivered to the RAF between June and August 1944. After serving with the ATA it went to the Czech Air Force in October 1946.

After a period of evaluation with the A&AEE, Argus I HM164 was passed to the ATA and flew with that organisation until struck off RAF charge in February 1945. This photograph was taken in November 1941.

One of a batch of 25 Fairchild Argus Is delivered to the RAF at the end of 1941, HM181 spent the duration with the ATA and was returned to the USA in April 1947. It is seen here in September 1942.
