At Mesa, Arizona on the night of October 6, 1990 the Champlin Fighter Museum's Messerschmitt Bf 109 and Focke-Wulf Fw 190 were rolled out and had their engines run. The event marked the museum's highly successful First Annual Aviation Art Show and Fighter Aces Symposium, held on October 5-7.

De Havilland Mosquito B.35 TA634 was rolled out at the Mosquito Aircraft Museum at Salisbury Hall, London Colney, on October 14, 1990 at the end of a 10yr restoration to static display condition - just in time to join in the Mosquito's 50th anniversary celebrations on November 25. It wears the code letters 8K-K of Mosquito B.XVI ML963 of No 571 Sqn.
