Beverley XL149 of 84 Sqn on a photographic flight over Kenya on March 12, 1965. First flown on July 15, 1957, XL149 flew with 242 OCU for much of its life before joining 84 Sqn in February 1965 and then 30 Sqn in 1967. It spent the next 10yr as an instructional airframe and was scrapped in 1977, but its nose section survives in the Newark Air Museum.

Beverley XM109 unloading after arrival from Khormaksar, Aden in June 1958. First delivered to 84 Sqn in May 1958, this Beverley remained with the unit until January 1967, when it passed to 30 Sqn. In March 1970 XM109 was sold for scrap.

June 1958 - the wreckage of 30 Sqn Beverley XH118 at Beihan. XH118 overturned when making an emergency landing at this airstrip following engine failure on February 2, 1958. The air signaller was killed.
