Регистрационный номер : T2449 [5] The Airspeed AS.45 Cambridge T2449 taken in March 1941. Note the wide track of the inward-retracting undercarriage. The small rudder necessitated large control movements during take-off and landing and was generally ineffective at slow speeds. The empennage bore some similarity to that of the Heston Type 5 Racer, designed in 1938 39 by G. Cornwall and Airspeed designer A. E. Hagg.
