The Dornier Do 24T-3 arriving on Lake Constance after being retired from service by the Spanish Air Force. It is to be restored for permanent exhibition at Friedrichshafen.
Second example of the type to fly, the Dornier Do 24 V4 was tested from Lake Constance as D-ADLP as pictured here, before being delivered to the Dutch Marine Luchtvaartdienst as one of the batch of 12 built for Holland by Dornier.

At the time of its return from Spain, the Do 24 was in plain metal finish, but when first operated by the Spanish Air Force, these boats had a dark green finish, as shown below, with distinctive yellow stripes.
