Handley Page’s prototype Herald first flew on August 25, 1955 - 30 years later Air UK operated the type’s last passenger flight.
In all, 36 Series 200 Heralds were built, making it the most popular variant. This aircraft, G-ATIG, is a Herald 214 in the colours of Brymon Airways.
Channel Express was the last Herald operator to use the type to carry cargo. This aircraft, G-BEYF, was the final example to take to the air on April 9, 1999.
