M.English - Transaero Airlines. A Russian Revolution /Commercial/
This photograph of Tu-214 RA-64509 illustrates the similarity in the tail logo between Transaero and Air France. Olga Pleshakova said that there is no association between the airlines and it is purely coincidental.
Although the airline does not have dedicated cargo aircraft, it carries freight on many of its passenger services. This 767 was photographed being loaded at Domodedovo in April this year.
Having been delivered in March this year 737-524 VP-BYJ is the most recent of the type to enter service with the airline.
In its two-class configuration the 737-300s have 16 business and 102 economy seats - 737-4S3 EI-CXK is seen here on the apron at Domodedovo.
ln 2005 Transaero acquired the first of its ten 747s and is still the only Russian carrier to be equipped with the type.
