In April 2009 Air Force Materiel Command selected the Camber Corporation's Sensor Systems Division based in Dallas, Texas, to fit Combat Systems Officer (CSO) training stations to seven T-1A Jayhawk aircraft. The contract was awarded in support of Air Education and Training Command's redesign of its training pipeline for navigators, electronic warfare officers and weapon system officers. Camber's CSO training station is a software based system that simulates sensors (radar, radar warning receiver, electronic support measures), countermeasures (chaff and flares), and weapon systems for two students and two instructors aboard a T-1A Jayhawk.
