Tomahawk IIA of No.26 Squadron 5. Tomahawk IIA with code of No.26 OTU: presumably transferred from attached Bomber Gunnery Training Flight without formal allocation.
Item 4 carries the springbok's head emblem of No.26 Squadron on the white strip of the fin marking, one of the few units carrying such revealing markings, the allocation of code letters being intended to conceal unit identities.
