  • Регистрационный номер: F-ANPH

Despite the apparent lack of clues this one may be made easier if we mention F-ANPH.
F-ANPH Air France Potez 62-0 c/n 3845/2 "Cormoran" operating Marseilles-Paris service. Icing caused a forced landing (on p.87/115 a different cause, jammed undercarriage and a stall, is quoted) following which the Potez was destroyed by fire near Auxerre on 10.12.35. Date also quoted as 25.11.35 in one source.

  • Регистрационный номер: ZS-AKF

As a puzzle this is probably too easy since the type and registration are all too evident. The wings were designed to fold, but not the tailplane.
ZS-AKF Hornet Moth c/n 8118, owner/pilot Peter Campbell, crashed on landing in grounds of Hilton College on 5.6.37. No casualties but the aircraft was a write-off. According to our "Civil Aircraft Registers of Africa" (1981 edition) it was only registered in South Africa in 6.37.
