Регистрационный номер: EU-XIX Last time we identified the Eurasia Ju 52/3m forced down on 13.4.39 as No.19 which can be seen on the previous photo written as EURASIA XIX on the fuselage. Here we see the site of the forced landing on the mountain side. The Junkers was badly damaged but was repaired on the spot and a level strip constructed by local labour so that it was able to fly out on 15.10.39 and continue to Kunming.

Регистрационный номер: I-DIRE One pictorial problem to solve this time showing Caproni Ca 133 I-DIRE of Ala Littoria after a rather heavy landing. Was the accident terminal? Where and when did it take place?
The Ala Littoria Caproni Ca 133 crashed about 2 km southwest of Gabode airfield, Djibouti on Friday the Thirteenth - 13.10.39. It was on a regular flight from Addis Ababa to Djibouti with three crew and three passengers who were all staff of the Italian consulate in Djibouti. Pilot Jereb turned for landing and the port engine stopped at about 100 metres and he was unable to avoid a hilltop and other obstacles as the aircraft crashed. The Caproni was declared destroyed, 3 crew and 1 passenger received minor injuries, the starboard engine was salvaged but the port engine, when examined, failed to reveal any cause for failure.Самолёты на фотографии: Caproni Ca.133/148 - Италия - 1934
