Mike Phipp has pointed out that the photograph of VG983 on page 92 cannot be so as it ditched on 9 November 1948 so could not serve with Airwork later. The answer is presumably that the handwriting on the back was misread and it is actually VG993, also illustrated in the article on page 102.
