"Boeing" продолжает предлагать экспортные варианты Strike Eagle. В ВВС США решили установить на 179 своих F-15E РЛС Raytheon APG-63(V)4 AESA, в которой объединены достоинства антенны APG-63(V)3 и антенны APG-79 самолета Super Hornet. Эта новая РЛС будет устанавливаться и на новую модификацию Boeing F-15SE Silent Eagle, представленную 17 марта 2009 года. Она имеет модифицированные конформные топливные баки и оружие внутреннего размещения, кили с наклоном наружу и другие элементы, придающие самолету черты "стелс". "Boeing" планирует к экспорту 190 самолетов модификации SE.

8 июля 2010г.: первый полет выполнил Boeing F-15SE Silent Eagle, демонстрация макета которого состоялась в марте 2009 года. В демонстратор Silent Eagle доработан F-15E (86-0183), на нем смонтированы конформные отсеки для топливных баков и вооружения.

Boeing has completed wind tunnel tests of the conformal weapons bay of the F-15SE Silent Eagle. The bays are mounted along the sides of the fuselage in the position occupied by conformal fuel tanks on earlier Eagle variants. The trials were undertaken at the company's St Louis, Missouri, facility. The advanced Eagle version is in contention for the Republic of Korea for its FX-III requirement. It features advanced avionics, including an active electronically scanned array radar, and airframe changes to reduce the aircraft's radar signature, such as the cantered tail fins.
