The evocative shot of Nalfire Aviation’s Spitfire IX, MH434, won First Prize for John Blackman of North Weald, Essex. The photograph was taken at Duxford Airfield, Cambs, on May 4, 1986, and wins John a Canon T90 35mm camera, worth £450.
