ZS-AGF and ZS-AGG, the second and third South African Airways Ju 86s, were originally fitted with Rolls-Royce Kestrel engines. They have B-series fuselages. A total of 18 Ju 86s was ordered by the airline - the biggest civil order for the type. In 1939 they were taken over by the South African Air Force, armed and used on maritime patrol, escort and reconnaissance duties until 1942.
