Third place and £35 also goes to Paul Richardson of Deal, for the splendid shot of the Shuttleworth Collection's Gloster Gladiator, L8032. It was taken at Old Warden on April 24, 1988, during the "Salute to the Royal Air Force” Pageant.

Fourth place and £25 goes to M. Moncalvo of Rivalba, Italy, for the powerful study of McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG.I XT875 of 43 Sqn, waving the flag at the 1982 Sion airshow in Switzerland.
