Hawker Hart K2988 was another 600 Sqn machine. It was delivered to the squadron early in 1933 and later passed to 601 Sqn before ending up with 6 ERFTS, becoming instructional airframe 2384M in 1940.

K2982, seen flying over the West Sussex coast. After a period with 600 Sqn this particular Hart passed to 610 Sqn and ended its flying days with 12 ERFTS, finally becoming instructional airframe 2262M.

Westland Wapiti IIAs of 604 (County of Middlesex) Sqn overflying Chichester Cathedral in 1932 while on summer camp at nearby RAF Tangmere. At the time this Hendon-based Auxiliary squadron was commanded by Wg Cdr A.S.W. Dore. The squadron received its Wapitis in June 1930. By June 1935 the new Hawker Demon had been phased into service.

Pictured at RAF Tangmere in 1933 is Fairey IIIF Mk IV K1118, delivered to 24 Sqn at RAF Northolt in February 1930. This communications and training squadron used a variety of aircraft for VIP flights. K1118 was finally struck off RAF charge in 1936.
