    At the Air Museum “Planes of Fame”, the Cinema Air F3F-2 is displayed alongside a P-12E (in F4B-3 markings) and a P-26A (both airworthy), and immediately below a Hanriot HD-1 that French ace Charles Nungesser brought to the USA after World War One.

    Steve Hinton flying Cinema Air’s Grumman F3F-2 replica 1028. The aircraft was being ferried to an artist to have the fighting wasp emblem added to the red disc forward of the cockpit.

    Cinema Air F3F-2 1033 on display in the Air Museum “Planes of Fame”. Although it also carries the fighting wasp emblem of VF-7, the fuselage markings are for a VF-6 fighter which served aboard the USS Saratoga; however, VF-6 fighters had blue tails.
