A classic Australian pair together again on October 31, 1994, after almost 50 years. Wirraway “A20-458”, alias VH-WRX, is owned by a seven-member syndicate, while Boomerang A46-206/VH-BOM, finished in the markings of 83 Sqn RAAF, is the property of Guido Zuccoli.

Study of “A20-458" which emphasize the Wirraway’s close resemblance to the North American Harvard. The design was actually derived from the NA-33. Although it was originally intended for training, liaison and communications work, the Wirraway was thrown into front-line aerial defence as the Japanese advance threatened its home country.
