One of the armament options for the Northrop F-5G is the General Electric GEPOD 30, shown here carried on the centreline fuselage station of the second production F-5E in use for development flying. The GEPOD 30, recently ordered into production by the USAF, contains a 30-mm gun with a 2,400 rounds per minute rate of fire.
