The primary structure of the Lockheed CL-1200-2 Lancer is shown in these diagrams. Structural materials are similar to those used in the F-104 with the exception that the rear fuselage and tail cone make extensive use of commercially-available titanium. The fuselage is a conventional frame and stringer structure and the wing is built up round a torsion box formed by the main and front spars, ribs and skin.
