Lt Skene's Blackburn Ripon, S1469, biting the dust at Hal Far on August 7, 1931. The pilot was uninjured and the Ripon probably flew again.

Imperial Airways' Handley Page H.P.42 G-AAUE Hannibal is seen taking on November 24, 1931 bound for Egypt. This aircraft was lost over the Gulf of Oman, between Jask and Sharjah, on March 1, 1940.
What appears to be a Blackburn Baffin entangled in the round-down of, presumably, HMS Glorious. A small group of naval personnel survey the damage.

Unidentified Fairey Flycatcher of 405 Flight on July 29, 1931 after Lt Burrough hit the deck at 90 m.p.h. at Hal Far. He was lucky to escape with cuts and concussion.
