The second Sunderland for CAUSA was CX-AKF shown here at anchor. Clearly visible is the faired-over nose turret involving less structural change and expense than other versions. In CAUSA service the Sunderland III carried 45 passengers on two decks.

Boeing PT-17 CX-AKC, probably taken at Paysandu, by Nery Mendiburu via Gary Kuhn. Although the aircraft appears at first glance to be fitted with a belly-pack there is in fact a Cessna just behind it causing the illusion!
