Three blanked-off holes noted below the registration were later revealed as parachute flare tubes, available as an optional extra on initial build order. The purpose was to illuminate unlit strips at night, of particular use to air taxi operators, but after a series of accidents (the mind boggles!) they were ordered to be removed.
