Shown at Christchurch in September 1962, ZK-GCM was a Slingsby Skylark 2B rebuilt from Skylark 2 ZK-GBH which was run over by a train in 1959 as described earlier. The Skylark single-seater was progressively increased in size through the Marks 1 to 3 and 32 of the 61 Mark 2s built were exported.

The largest of the Skylark family was the T.43 Skylark 3 which had enlarged tail surfaces and an 18 metre wing. The wing was in three sections and in this view ZK-GCF has the outer left wing section detached.

Schleicher Rhonlerche II ZK-GBZ was relatively short-lived, being written off in April 1963. The Rhonlerche II was a modified version of the Kaiser Ka4 design for a standard 2-seat trainer with a steel tube & fabric fuselage and strutted wing.
