In this fl rear view of the BHT-1 the compact lines are apparent with no break in the fuselage top line in spite of the high cockpit with its large transparent areas. Colour was all red with white lettering and cheat lines. The name Beauty is visible on the rudder.

SE-ANX, with undercarriage retracted, on an early flight. It can be seen that the pilot has plenty of head clearance.

A nose close-up of the BHT-1 with 4-cylinder Walter Mikron inverted in-line engine and neat spinner over the hub of the two-blade wood fixed pitch propeller which is clearly labelled "BHT 1A". Performance with a variable pitch propeller was quoted but it was never fitted. Clearly visible are the knuckle-type undercarriage fairings and the need for the wheels to turn through ninety degrees on retraction in order to lie flush in the wheel wells. The low-cut windscreen offers good visibility in a forward and downward direction.
