A question from Harm Hazewinkel who discovered this photo of actress Beatrix Thomson (who appeared in "For The Defence" at the Duke of York's Theatre), a keen airwoman who holds a licence, about to go for a flight in a Puss Moth. Was this a frequent occurence in the same aircraft - if so, which?

Another female aviator, this time the 21-year old Peggy Salaman in front of G-ABEH "Good Hope" Puss Moth c/n 2072 in which she set the Lympne to Cape Town record in 1931 with Gordon Store.

Enlargement of the "serial" of the impressed Puss Moth reveals that it could be G-ABHB.
Peter Green has revisited the photo of the impressed Puss Moth on page 2000/102. Although the serial is tiny and difficult to enhance, it is quite clear on enlargement that it is not AX868 as the first two letters or digits are the wrong shape. The spacing of the figures actually looks more appropriate to a civil registration, indeed despite his failing eyesight the Editor is now becoming convinced that it reads G-ABHB.
