436th TFS F-104C 56-0894 attended the Armed Forces Day display held at RAF Sculthorpe on 19th May 1962. In keeping with Tactical Air Command's policy of that period, the aircraft wears no unit markings at all, just the TAC badge and yellow lightning flash on the fin.

303rd Air Rescue Squadron SA-16B 51-7161 is seen returning to its parking spot at lunchtime on 4th November 1961 having completed a five-hour round-trip flight from Prestwick under callsign "Chant 77". This was a 'duckbutt' rescue orbit sortie in support of "Stair Step", providing contingency rescue coverage for that morning's arrival of T-33As from Keflavik, Iceland.
