Nigeria Airways have been using the British Airways' Boeing 747-236B G-BDXB on their six times weekly Heathrow-Lagos scheduled service since last December 2000
British Airways' first two Embraer ERJ-145s G-ERJA & G-ERJB entered service during March 2000. The airline has ordered seven ERJ-145s in total, five for delivery in 2000 and two in 2001. Options are also held for a further 14 which are convertible to ERJ-135s or ERJ-170s if required

Adrian Marshall s Hindustan HAL-26 Pushpak G-BXTO, ex 9V-BAI/VT-DWM, is now flying after an extensive four year rebuild which was completed in October 1999. The aircraft, which was presented to Singapore by the Indian Government in December 1967, was used for ground instruction in the Singapore Air Force s Air Engineering Training Institute at Changi, still painted as VT-DWM, and was later given to the country's National Cadet Corps

British Midland have marked their joining of the organisation by taking delivery of several new aircraft painted in Star Alliance livery. By 31/3/00, the ex Color Air Boeing 737-3Q8 G-BYZJ, the A321 G-MIDL and A320s G-MIDW and G-MIDX and had been noted.
The Boeing 737-3Q8 N699PU, ex PK-GWG, the first for British World Airlines, on the approach to Southend after a test flight on 5/3/00. The aircraft, which arrived at the Essex airport for overhaul on 21/10/99, was not officially registered G-OBWZ until 28/3/00. The airline's second 737-300 G-OBWY, ex N202KG/G-DEBZ, arrived at East Midlands on 4/3/00 and was expected to enter service during April
