Malmo Flygindustri MFI-9
Компания "A.B. Malmo Flygindustri" приступила к выпуску самолетов с модели Malmo MFI-9 Junior, которая была ранее спроектирована под названием Andreasson BA-7 конструктором Бьёрном Андреассоном. Конструктивно MFI-9 представлял собой подкосный высокоплан с неубирающимся трехопорным шасси и закрытой кабиной на двух человек, сидящих рядом. Самолет оснащался двигателем Rolls-Royce Continental O-200.
По лицензии данный самолет выпускался и в Германии компанией "Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm" под обозначением MBB 208 C Junior (всего построено здесь около 200 самолетов).
Компания MFI построила 25 самолетов MFI-9 Junior, а затем переключилась на сборку более совершенного варианта MFI-9B Trainer - с существенно перепроектированным хвостовым оперением, кабиной увеличенных размеров и рядом более мелких усовершенствований. Оба варианта, выпускавшихся "A.B. Malmo Flygindustri", продавались также с поплавковым или лыжным шасси. Последним вариантом стал MFI-9 Militrainer, отличавшийся подкрыльевыми узлами подвески для НАР или УР. Шведские ВВС провели испытания двух прототипов этого самолета. Кроме того, в 1969-1970-х годах проходили испытания прототипы варианта MFI-9 с увеличенными размерами - в компании "Saab" они были обозначены как MFI-15 и MFI-15B.
