J-DAAH Gasuden TR-1 four/six passenger cabin low-wing monoplane (2 x 240-280 hp Gasuden Jimpu 5A nine-cyl radials). Designed as successor to Airspeed Envoy/Mitsubishi Hinazuru. One prototype only completed, first flew 8.4.38 at Haneda. Damaged after one-wheel landing at Muramatsu 22.6.38 when port undercarriage failed to lower. Repaired and sent by ship to Formosa but again damaged on board and sent back to Tokyo. Intended for Taiwan Kokubo Gikai and named "Taiwan Giyu Gakko Niitata-go". Returned to Gasuden factory but not repaired.
J-DAAJ Gasuden TR-2 four/six passenger cabin low-wing monoplane (2 x 240-280 hp Gasuden Jimpu 5A nine-cyl radials). Built as replacement for J-DAAH, 10.40. Named "Taiwan Giyu Gakko No.2". Ferried by air from Haneda to Formosa in November 1940. Used as a decoy at Taihoku airfield during wartime.

Регистрационный номер: J-DAAJ [2] J-DAAJ was the Gasuden TR-2, a development aircraft built to replace the TR-1. Wing span was increased by a foot to 47 ft 2 ft in and smooth NACA engine cowlings were fitted, however no production followed.

Регистрационный номер: J-DAAJ [2] The Gasuden TR-1 was replaced by the TR-2 J-DAAJ in 1940. The most obvious visible change is the revised engine cowling shape. The small marking on the tail of the TR-2 is the logo of the Hitachi company which took over Gasuden in 1939.
