Captured Bf 109E-3 AE479 flying from Duxford in 1941. It went to the USA in April 1942.
A close-up view of Bf 109F-1 ES906, captured near Dover on July 10, 1941. This aircraft was lost in a crash at Fowlmere on October 20, 1941 after the pilot was overcome by fumes. The narrow-track undercarriage legs and splayed-out wheels are very apparent in this view.
