Concorde G-BOAA leaves Heathrow for Bahrain at 1130hr GMT on January 21, 1976. Simultaneously, Air France Concorde F-BVFA left de Gaulle Airport for Rio, bringing air transport into the supersonic era.
On January 15, 1976, a Vertol Chinook transported McDonnell Banshee 126464 from Ottawa to Canadian Forces Base, Toronto, where it will be restored for display at the Air Museum, Ottawa. The 300-mile flight took four hours.
