Commander Paolo Treu taxies out in the first Italian Aviazione per la Marina Militate AV-8B Harrier II Plus, MM71991 '1-03' which was delivered on April 20, 1994 and is one of three now in use for crew training at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina. The beginning of operational use by the Italians was celebrated in a ceremony there on June 30 and after working-up in the USA the first three aircraft will deploy aboard the carrier Guiseppe Garibaldi in December.
Seen at the official roll-out ceremony at Toulouse on June 23, 1994, the first Airbus A300-600ST Super Transporter is seen in company with the type it will replace, the Boeing 377SG Super Guppy.

PZL-Swidnik W-3W '0602' (360602) is the second example from the second batch of five delivered in June to Poland's 47th Szkolny Pulk Siglowcow (Helicopter School Regiment) at Nowe Miasto. This new armed version can carry a wide range of weapons, those visible here including an S- 5 Mars 57mm unguided rocket launching pod on the inboard pylon of the stub wing while the outer pylon carries the Platan aerial mine-laying system dispenser.
