Late in November, the DC-2 loaned to KLM to masquerade as PH-AJU Uiver for the MacRobertson Race commemorative flight from Mildenhall to Australia, paid a brief visit to Duxford for filming. The aircraft, NC39165, is to star in a Netherlands Broadcasting Corporation three-part documentary about the race, due to be broadcast next October to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the MacRobertson Race and KLM’s 65th birthday.
