An Avro Lancaster exhibited in Trafalgar Square during Wings for Victory in March 1943.
“Say again Sunderland, your last transmission sounded very husky”. A Sunderland of 230 Squadron, one of five used on the 1954 British North Greenland Expedition. The co-pilot is at least dressed for the part.
