P.Jarrett - Grapevine
North American Harvard G-BGOR is one of the latest of the breed to join the active examples on the vintage circuit. Owned by M.L. Sargeant of Goudhurst Service Station, Kent, it was bought from a London motor dealer in late 1982, when it was “lying at Audley End Airfield".
Although French collector Phillippe Denis paid £3,200 for Avro 19 G-AGPG at the Southend Museum auction last May, the aircraft is still on site and slowly disintegrating.
Following renovation, Mystere IVA 315 is now flying as a display aircraft with Ailes Anciennes, piloted by Roland Fraissinet, a Lieutenant Colonel in the Armee de l'Air reserve.
