Регистрационный номер : XR636 Army Air Corps Westland Scout AH.1 XR636 during a demonstration at Middle Wallop on July 31, 1971. The AH.1 was powered by a 1,050 s.h.p. Rolls-Royce Bristol Nimbus 101 or 102 turboshaft engine derated to 658 s.h.p. The range with maximum fuel, pilot and four passengers was 315 miles. The prototype AH.1, XP847, was first flown on March 6, 1961 and the type is still in service with the Army Air Corps.

A Scout AH.1 of 653 Sqn pictured in January 1974. The Scout entered service with the Army Air Corps in early 1963, replacing the Saro Skeeter.

Регистрационный номер : XV125 Army Air Corps Westland AH.1 Scout XV125 lying in the snow after its dramatic descent on December 16, 1969. On hitting the ground, the Scout rolled over four times before coming to rest on its side.
