During NATO operations over Bosnia, Mirage 2000s were used mainly in the close air support rote, in support of the IFOR/SFOR ground forces. Mirage 2000N, 347/'4-BT’, of EC.02/004 taxying at Cervia in February 1996 is armed with two Mk 82 500lb GPLD bombs, two Matra Magic 2 air-to-air missiles for self-defence, plus two 528 Imp gal underwing tanks.
