The Fury II illustrated here, K7279, was photographed by Charles Sims, The Aeroplane's photographer, in 1937. K7279 spent its short life with No 25 Sqn, the first unit to receive the type. On August 2, 1937 K7279 crashed at Dymchurch and was written off. No 25 Sqn flew Fury IIs until the following year when they were replaced with Demons and Gladiators.
