The other two, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight B Mk I PA474 in the UK, and Canadian Warplane Heritage B Mk X FM213, have both been flying for some years. NX611 is confined to the ground - for the immediate future, at least. Perhaps one day...

Ian, who spent eight years with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, has been the engineer responsible for bringing NX611’s Merlins back to life. Brian, meanwhile, has been responsible for restoring the vehicle collection. A search is under way for an RAF runway caravan.
