Evidence that Wal 51/71 was in fact named "Argus" rather than "Argos" can be seen clearly in this view of the nose.

Wal Werk.No.8 was the first for Argentina's Navy as B9. A forward turret can be seen, as can the large wheels for ground handling. The photo is dated 1926 and the location may be Punta de Indio, in any case some facilities were still under construction at the time.
