Регистрационный номер: G-AAZV G-AAZV "Jason II" c/n 2077 was presented to Amy Johnson by DH and it is seen here at the time with the original small fin and rudder and high pressure tyres. It was modified with the larger fin and rudder and low pressure tyres and on 28.7.31 Amy used it for a record-breaking flight from London to Japan by way of Siberia, returning by the same route and arriving 9.9.31.

Регистрационный номер: PH-AJA, VH-UQO [2], G-AFZR C J Melrose arrived in England in VH-UQO c/n 2089 from Australia 9.34 after a record flight of 8 days 9 hr to take part in the England-Australia air race. The Puss Moth has a Gipsy Major engine with Melrose's name and origin on the cowling. It is seen in front of Fokker F.XXXVI PH-AJA which arrived at Croydon 28.9.34 and was also a race entry but was not ready in time.

Регистрационный номер: G-ABDI G-ABDI c/n 2091 with Belgian owner Georges Hanet (or Hornet?) and the trophy for the Coupe Challenge International St Hubert which he won in September 1930. The narrow high pressure tyres were often used for racing and competition aircraft, a practice inherited from the Gipsy Moths as they were considered to have less drag than the later low pressure 'balloon' tyres.

Регистрационный номер: G-ABDH "STAGE AND SCREEN": The inaugural meeting of the Stage and Screen Aero Club was held at Hatfield Aerodrome on Sunday, July 24. The de Havilland School Clubhouse was the venue. In the foreground is the demonstrator "Puss Moth" of Brian Lewis, Ltd. Flt. Lt. Comper showed off a "Swift" (Gipsy III) during the afternoon.
