Hiller test pilot Richard L.Peck being strapped into N6728C. The large control lever from above the pilot is the cyclic pitch, by his left thigh is the collective pitch lever and just above his head the small clutch lever can just be seen.

A Marine pilot flying BuA.4004 to which a fixed tailplane has been attached on the top of the tail rotor boom. The fuel tank has been moved from just above the engine and is now a spherical tank on top of the tail boom.

N6728C in its packaged form from which it could be assembled in three minutes, using 13 quick-release pins. The whole aircraft weighed 300 lbs.
