One of the Cant Z.506B of the 139 Squadriglia R.M. photographed at Argostoli during 1942. Commander of the maritime reconnaissance unit was Capitano Pilota Felice Bastianelli, and during the adventure 193-13 was based at Prevesa.

The former 139 Squadriglia R.M. Z.506B photographed in Kalafrana Bay on 7 August 1942. The Italian seaplane, now wearing RAF colours, had already flown some air-sea-rescue missions, rescuing both Allied and Axis personnel.
