This photograph showing a Comper Swift lying on its back shows only the registration letters G-AAZ so the identity of the aircraft is intriguing. In theory there are six candidates but in our earlier photos only G-AAZC had a light colour scheme with white (?) letters. This one certainly has later balloon tyres and a, now bent, production fin and rudder and a white stripe broad enough to take in the whole of the Comper badge ahead of the cockpit. The backgound looks suitably Scottish - are we on the right track?
