With a big top wing of 45 ft span, the New Standard D-25 crammed 4 persons in the front cockpit for joyriding. The engine was the Wright J5 9-cyl radial with a collector ring and underside exhaust exiting away from the open cockpits.

Регистрационный номер: X16791 [5], NX16791 [5] The head-on view with engine running, tail up and black wing-root walkways showing was made for the cameraman and is thought not to have continued into a take-off. The first four photographs were supplied together for early publicity.

Регистрационный номер: X16791 [5], NX16791 [5] Another tail-up view with engine running suggests that it is probably being held on the brakes with the wheels solidly on the ground. The pitot is seen under the port wing and the front cowling shows the specific intakes for the 125 hp Menasco aircooled engine.

Регистрационный номер: NX16791 [5], X16791 [5] Late in its life, S-125 NX16791 is seen wearing the White Aircraft Corporation logo on the fin, now being known as the White S-125. The paint scheme of a Tiger on the rear fuselage and oriental characters below the canopy suggest that it may have been used in the making of a film.
