  • Регистрационный номер: G-ABWW   [4]

Although having an otherwise standard Swift airframe, the Gipsy Swift was built as a racer and as such was given modifications by owners intended to improve its performance, as here on S T Lowe's G-ABWW c/n GS32/1 seen with wheel spats, enclosed hood and inter-strut fairings

  • Регистрационный номер: G-ABWW   [4]

The small size of the Swift is apparent from comparison with the man standing in front of G-ABWW. The Gipsy III engine with its fully enclosed cowling gives it a more 'solid' look than the Pobjoy version.
